Rhine Riesling is a variety that gives excellent results in the Plešivica vineyards. Warm days and cold nights give Rhine Riesling the ideal ratio of sugars and acids in grapes. Maceration on the skin lasts for several days at low temperatures, and fermentation and aging of wine in large wooden barrels give the wine extra depth. Rhine Riesling is an excellent variety for long-term storage and aging in the bottle. The abundance of floral and fruity scents, a mild moldy note, a light predicate scent of dried berries, with pleasant acidity and freshness, do not give the Rhine Riesling the epithet king of white wines for no reason.
