This wine exhibits a strong yellow color with subtle golden highlights, characterized by the aroma of autumn quince with hints of apples and pears. After about ten minutes in the glass, walnuts, honey, and baked apple notes become evident. There is a mild, rounded density and richness of oily texture with fresh citrus elements on the edges of the palate, as well as apple-honey-nutty nuances on the long and savory finish.

Food pairing: It pairs excellently with Foie gras, especially with terrine and torchon, with blue-veined cheeses such as Roquefort or Stilton, or a classic Tarte Tatin. It goes well with apple strudels as well. It can also stand alone as a dessert alternative.
