Pag cheese stands out as our most renowned and highly acclaimed cheese. It's a limited edition product, crafted solely from sheep's milk sourced from the island of Pag. Each year, only about 200 tons of Pag cheese are produced across all registered cheese dairies and local producers on the entire island. This limitation is tied to the total number of Pag sheep permitted to graze freely on the island's pastures.
Crafted through a traditional process by the specifications established by the Association of Pag Cheesemakers, Pag cheese is distinguished by its protected designation of origin at the Croatian level and PDO status at the EU level.
