Brancaia Ilatraia IGT

Ilatraia, the flagship wine of Brancaia winery in Maremma, stands out as a full-bodied expression that captivates with its remarkable freshness, precision, and elegance. This wine embodies an impeccable equilibrium between maturity and finesse, presenting an exceptionally silky and polished texture with the characteristic soft tannins of the Tuscan coast. After aging for 18 months in semi-new French barrique barrels, Ilatraia matures in the bottle for at least one year. 

Rich black fruit aromas precede a wine that is both firm and silky, showcasing fine tannins and culminating in a luscious finish.

Grape: 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot and 20% Cabernet Franc

Food Pairing: Meat and game dishes like fried or stewed preparations, as well as poultry such as pigeon or pheasant. Try it with fresh tagliatelle and wild boar ragu for a delightful pairing.
